Meet Megan

Summer Rain Herbal Apothecary is a collection of wildcrafted and homemade plant remedies made by herbalist Megan Elizabeth Allen. Her body oils, tinctures, flower essences, salves and more are infused wut the wisdom of well-known plant allies and formulated to nourish deep into body, heart, and soul.

Megan offers 1:1 herbal consultations to help discern which remedies will be most helpful for your particular needs. She can supply you with potions she has harvested locally and wildcrafted using time-tested methods. She can also visit your home or neighborhood to identify which naturally-growing plants there could be useful to you, and how to use them.

Once a month, Megan teaches Introduction to Herbalism classes, where you can learn how and why herbal medicine works, and how to make your own. You can find better health and stability by using plant medicines to balance your body with the Earth.

Having studied with The School of Evolutionary Herbalism and the Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine, and continually growing her experience with local Native American botanical healing traditions, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Ayurveda, Megan brings a broad and compassionate perspective to healing body, mind, and soul through connection with the living beings of this healing Earth.
